Take action to help a Saudi Arabian woman

Amnesty International is concerned that the safety and security of Fatima, a 34 year old woman and mother of two children in Saudi Arabia, will be jeopardised if a court divorce judgement against her is enforced.

The court case was initiated by her half-brother using his powers as her male guardian. Fatima was happily married and her situation now leaves her at risk of domestic violence if sent back to her brother's home.

Please take action today to help Fatima and her family.

March online against domestic violence

Did you know that in some countries up to 69% of women have been physically abused by their male partners?

It's everyone's business to stop domestic violence and you can do something about it. Please march against domestic violence today - it's an easy way to stand up against violence towards women.

More about Amnesty International

Amnesty International is an international movement promoting and defending human rights. Your donations are vital. We do not accept funding from governments or political organisations for our campaigning work against human rights abuses, only from individuals like you. Please donate today.

Thank you for your support and actions to stop violence against women around the world.
