Dear friend,

uncensor

Hi I'm Nu Wa, the official mascot for Amnesty International Australia's new website - uncensor - which is being launched today.

Please don't confuse me with the "The Fuwa", the overly friendly official mascots of the Beijing Olympic Games. I'm here to speak up about human rights abuses in China.

Uncensor is focused on ending internet censorship in China, so I have 3 very cool actions you can do online to participate, show your support, and learn about the issues.

The first of these is available now.

By doing a Search for Freedom - in 2 mouse clicks you can send an anti-censorship message to search engine companies in China and experience internet censorship for yourself.

On uncensor you'll also find news about China, individual stories of those affected by censorship and other human rights abuses and background information.

This website makes it easy for you to get involved, show your support, and stay up-to-date with the campaign. So bookmark uncensor now and remember to check back.

Nu Wa
