The what, where and why of the Guantánamo Bay cell
Come and experience the reality of how David Hicks has spent much of the past five years as a prisoner in Guantánamo Bay - locked up for 22 hours a day in a detention cell 1.8 metres wide and 2.4 metres long.
A full-scale replica of a typical Guantánamo Bay cell has been built by Amnesty International Australia and is travelling to more than thirty locations throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, Western Australia and South Australia.
