Hooking up with others is easy too!
You can also use the website to find out where your nearest regional Action Centre is. It's where you can find out about Amnesty International's work and events in your area, join groups, sign up for volunteering, organise stalls and meet up with other like-minded folk.
You can attend seminars, cook up a storm in a bake off, or join an Amnesty fun run group. Come along to film nights, help out at music or film festivals, and meet up with other people interested in defending human rights.
Volunteer or work for human rights
Over 5,000 volunteers actively support the work of Amnesty International Australia - it's a great way to have fun, learn new skills, meet lots of interesting people and make a significant contribution to defending human rights.
We're always looking for new volunteers. If you've got some time or skills you'd like to share you can go to your local Action Centre web pages to find out more about volunteering and campaigning activities in your area.
Learn more about Amnesty International Australia or check out our current vacancies on our website.
Don't forget to let us know what you think and send us news or reviews of events and activities in your area.
Thank for your support. We couldn't do what we do without you.
