Stop the execution of child offender in Iran
Dear friend,

Delara Darabi
In late 2007, you took action against child executions in Iran. You may even remember Delara Darabi's story - a young woman facing execution for a crime that took place when she was just 17 years old.
Well, we received some good news. On 16 October 2008 the world celebrated the announcement that Iran would no longer execute juvenile offenders. However, just two days later, Iranian authorities contradicted themselves, affirming that it will in fact still be possible for children to be executed for some crimes.
We have just heard that Delara Darabi is facing imminent execution today and needs your help.
Please call on Iranian authorities to immediately halt the execution of Delara Darabi and end the death penalty for child offenders
Being a human rights defender with Amnesty International requires eternal vigilance - we need your ongoing support to continue to defend people facing human rights abuse.
Please take action now to stop the execution of Delara Darabi - a minute of your time could help save a life
Thank you.
