Dear friend,

This year we turned 50. It's incredible to reflect that from our start in a small London office in 1961, today we're part of a global movement with millions of supporters across 150 countries - and it's all thanks to people like you, . Thank you.

To celebrate our 50th year, we've created a new video that represents our story, what we stand for, and all we still have to achieve together.

Take a look at our beautiful new video.

Sometimes it can be hard to put into words what this movement means to each of us, and why things like human rights and justice matter so deeply. That's why we've tried to do it for you with the help of acclaimed Brooklyn animator Seth Brau.

With this new video we hope to inspire new people around the world to get involved in our work. With your help, we'll start the New Year stronger than ever and ready to face the challenges and opportunities that still lie ahead.

Please, take five minutes to watch our wonderful new video, and share it on your social networks.

It's been a year we won't soon forget. We stood with the protestors of the Arab Spring; monitoring the abuses they faced when they took to the street demanding their rights. Closer to home we struck some victories for the rights of refugees, including an end to the Malaysia Deal.

Thank you for everything you've done in the name of human rights, and here's to the next 50 years of changing the world together,
